Back to Basics

December 18, 2017

“Black and white always looks modern, whatever that word means”- Karl Legerfeld. black and white 2

However much I try to stray from my black and white outfits, I always find myself back to the basics. I was also super excited to wear this outfit mainly because it literally cost me 850 shillings minus the shoes. You know how much I’m a sucker for good deals! So here we are, back to basics. IMG_3465IMG_3459

I’m also in love with the bell sleeves trend. Remember in my last post when I talked about the off shoulder trend being so last year, well this is one of the trends that has overtaken it. The great thing about bell sleeves is that they come in the most dramatic or in the most subtle ways versions possible. So depending on your style and personality, you can never run out of options.IMG_3456IMG_3455This skirt is literally one of the best deals I’ve ever gotten in my life, no kidding! Black Friday is real guys! I got this ZARA skirt for 550 shillings from Platform in Two Rivers and paired it with a black and white stripped turtle neck and my current favorite pair of heels that you will be seeing in literally almost all my posts. :DIMG_3472IMG_3475What are some of the best deals you’ve gotten this year? I’d love to know!

Thank you for reading, hope you found this post insightful.
