Hello Loves! I feel like its been forever since I posted but I’m back for good now. So about a month and a half ago I embarked on a journey to the oh-so-beautiful Morocco. I was staying in the city of Rabat which is not too far from the beach and also happened to be where the King lives so its pretty modern, clean, quiet and very well-developed.

While I was there I also visited some historical sites like the Hassan Tower where the king’s grandfather and father were buried.

I also visited the city of Volubilis/Walili which is basically full of ruins from the Ancient Roman Period. To say that it is breathtaking is literally an understatement.

The highlight of my whole experience was definitely a group of students that I had the chance to interact with and teach English to. Morocco being a french colonized country, is basically a French and Arabic speaking country, there are not many people who speak proper English so it was an honor for me to volunteer my services and help them out.

It was however a challenging experience because most of my students were older than me and I didn’t exactly have prior teaching experience. Nonetheless, I extremely enjoyed it and I ended up getting so attached to my students that I was really sad on my last day with them.

The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful Morocco is. I’m extremely thankful to man up above and AIESEC for making all of this happen. Hope y’all enjoyed this post and got to see Morocco through my eyes. Have a lovely weekend, Stay Safe everyone!
