How wonderful the color yellow is. It stands for the sun.
I’m not the biggest fan of colorful outfits but every time I wear them I feel somewhat happier. I know, I know, that’s probably the most cliche thing you’ve ever read I have slowly start to find joy in the small things in life and in myself other than waiting for other people to do it instead.
Anyway, let’s get into the fashion bit of this post. If you’re an avid reader of my blog, you know that I’ve been trying to step out of my comfort zone and wear more color. For this post, I wore an off shoulder yellow print shift dress and paired them with my current favorite pair of red sandal heels.
Am I the only one who has the bad habit of wearing a new pair of shoes I’m currently obsessing with until I cant wear them anymore?I digress. The secret to wearing shift dresses is to make sure it’s not too baggy but not too tight either or it will lose its essence. I also love the fact that most, (if not all) shift dresses are made to fit above the knee so we can show off some leg.
I know off shoulder tops and dresses are so last year, ever since new trends popped up but I’m definitely not over them yet. Which old trend haven’t you been able to let go of? I’d love to know! Feel free to leave a comment. I hope you enjoyed reading this post or found it insightful. See you next time!
